How to create a multidimensional Smart Slider?

As you can see on this demo page this slider has two dimensions. The slider is default a Vertical Accordion Smart Slider, but the first slide contains a second dimension with five slides. Maybe you think that it will be hard for you to create such a slider, but we promise that it is not.

In the first tutorial we showed you how can you easily create a simple Smart Slider. Now you will see how can you add a second dimension to your tabbed slider. Currently only the Accordion sliders support this feature so you have to make a Vertical or Horizontal Accordion Smart Slider.

  1. Make sure you have some slides on your slider. We have 6 slides on this demo slider.

Starting slide list

Now the main task is to group the subslides to the first slide

  1. In my case I would like to group "TOP 5 Product 2", "TOP 5 Product 3", "TOP 5 Product 4" and "TOP 5 Product 5" to the "TOP 5 Product" slide.
  2. I have to edit each of the slides what I have to group ("TOP 5 Product 2", "TOP 5 Product 3", "TOP 5 Product 4" and "TOP 5 Product 5") and set the Group to previous slide to yes.
  3. Go back to the Slide manager and you will see how are your slides groupped.

Groupped slide list
  1. You can change the groups by ordering your slides. Every slide which has the "Group to previous slide" option on "yes" will be group to the previous last main slide(where the "Group to previous slide" option on "no").

You are done, your multidimensional slider is ready to use. How simple was that... :)
